Estimating and Scheduling

Middough’s knowledge base combines many decades of project experience with the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACE) standards to provide quality Project Controls and Estimating Services.

Middough starts with conceptual time frames and integrates scope with schedule using Critical Path Method (CPM), Pull Planning, Advanced Work Packaging (AWP), and risk analysis to create an objective basis. Middough uses Earned Value Management (EVM) tools that enable project accountability and help assure that your project will be tracked and completed efficiently.

Middough leverages our conceptual scope and preliminary cost estimates to calibrate and drive engineering to generate the precise information needed to help deliver the planned Total Installed Cost (TIC) Estimates within the appropriate estimate accuracy range.

Advanced Project Management Methods (APM2)

  • Meet with and align key stakeholders
  • Identify objectives and time constraints
  • Define start-up date and estimate basis
  • Identify construction bid packages and develop WBS
  • Identify and prioritize critical path work packages
  • Identify permitting, delivery, and schedule constraints
  • Establish the safety and quality plan review process
  • Integrate engineering tasks with each bid package
  • Identify and resolve schedule conflicts
  • Define cost estimate format
