Our objective in the Conceptual and Feasibility phase is to work with you to understand the vision and goals of the project and help answer “What are my options to achieve my objectives?”
After the Concept considerations, Front End Engineering Design / Basic Engineering is conducted to further develop the project solution determining equipment, layout, scope, schedule, and cost at a time when the ability to influence changes in design is relatively high and the cost to make those changes is relatively low. Design criteria and constraints are evaluated in this preliminary design / FEED and Front End Loading (FEL) phase. Detailed engineering phase follows where procurement construction documentation is produced following the agreed upon work breakdown structure (WBS). Constructability, operability, and maintainability are priorities.
Planning, logistics, equipment delivery are all managed with you per the WBS. Middough uses Primavera and Aspen Cost Estimator tools coupled with an integrated procurement and project controls team to align cost, contracts and timing to keep your project on track.
During Construction phase, our CM/PM team can manage the whole process or participate in a hybrid team with you. Leading with safety and quality, Middough people and processes will be used to build your project with the end in mind. Planning for start-up, commissioning, and project close out is a core focus and is a priority.
In the Commissioning phase, Middough helps assure the construction meets your acceptance criteria for an effective facility startup. Our technical staff work with your operators during checkout and close-out. Documentation is aligned with operations needs to ready the project for safe and reliable operation.
