Scope of project
The company needed a facility and equipment for a new corn meal bulk handling project.
Services provided by Middough
The company retained Middough to perform architectural and engineering design services, as well as construction management services that included preparing all construction documents and specifications. The project scope included state-of-the-art computer control systems for various operations. Middough provided full-time, on-site construction management services as well as: contractor bidding, scheduling of equipment and material deliveries, primary interface with owner's project manager, start-up coordination and commissioning.
Results delivered to client
The project consisted of truck and railcar bulk pneumatic unloading operations, three storage silos and a new delivery building with pneumatic transfer systems for process production operations. The design was prepared to accommodate future growth for up to eight additional silos.
