Middough provided Process and Mechanical Engineering and Facility Planning services to create the new innovative design of the client’s new facility on the Atlantic Coast of the US.
The client’s new $110 million+, 240,000 square foot state-of-the-art office and manufacturing facility, was designed and built on 88 acres on the US’s Atlantic Coast. Through innovative design, Middough helped the client exceed meat industry best practices as established by the American Meat Institute's (AMI) Facility Design Guidelines. Additional food safety enhancements were incorporated including minimal handling of food products, intermediate ozone sterilization and total separation of raw/cooked support services.
